The largest mall in Shah Alam, Malaysia, Setia City Mall is a lifestyle hub that houses 327 retails across 4 levels, providing shoppers with varied options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. It is also the first mall in Malaysia to receive the Singapore Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark Gold Award. 

Envisioned since its early conception as a “green” mall, Setia City Mall was completed in 2012 and has been awarded a GBI Silver Rating as well as The Edge-PAM Green Excellence Award in 2013. 

For the flooring of the common areas, Niro Granite Sonosand GSA01, GSA02, GSA03, and GSA04 were utilised, creating a neutral and warm shaded base as a backdrop to the mall experience. Sonosand by Niro Granite offers the option of matt or structured surface – the former of which was used here – in 3 different sizes, which have been cut to create a varied and interesting look for the flooring in this mall.
