Announces the Appointment of New Managing Director
Shah Alam, Selangor 1 February 2021, – The Board of Directors of Niro Ceramic (M) Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce that in line with the company’s succession plan, Mr. Ian Kok has been appointed as Managing Director of the Niro Ceramic Group.
Mr. Ian Kok
Mr. Ian Kok started his career in Niro Ceramic in 2005 and served in the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. Throughout his 15 years of service, Mr. Ian Kok has been involved in a wide spectrum of Niro Ceramic Group’s operations, covering manufacturing, logistics, and sales in Malaysia and overseeing the operations in Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Spain.
“Ian has led the Group superbly over the last one year and has navigated the management team during this very challenging pandemic period and tough global economy. We are confident that Ian will provide the leadership and expertise through the next phase of growth and profitability”. The Board of Directors is delighted to appoint Ian as Managing Director.

The Board of Directors underlined their appreciation to Mr. Bong Kuan Shin for his stewardship of Niro Ceramic Group and for establishing “Niro Granite the Swiss-Quality Tile” as one of the leading brands in the industry. Under his leadership and vision, the Group has grown considerably with offices and operations expanded throughout seven countries in Asia and Europe, serving multiple export markets in many parts of the world. Mr. Bong Kuan Shin will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors as Executive Vice-Chairman.
