Wall Tiles
Walls are not as straight nor square as you would have thought they are. The sides of the wall almost always need cutting. Do consider the built-ins on your wall like electrical points or a built-in TV cabinet. Borders and featured area on the wall will result in more cuts too. The more cuts you need, the more tiles you’ll need.
Tile Laying Patterns
Tile laying patterns creates an artistic feel and are popular in today’s interior designs. If your tile laying includes intricate designs and multi-sizes, you may need up to 30% additional tiles for wastages.
Kitchen Countertops and Backsplashes
Countertops and backsplashes require a wide variety of trimmed pieces. Talk to our designers to get your instant 3D designs and the exact number of tiles you need.
How Tiles Are Packed
At Niro Ceramic Group, our tiles are packed in carton boxes. Each carton may contain 2 to 8 pieces of tiles depending on the sizes. When calculating the pieces of tiles that you need, remember to add up the pieces in the cartons. It is always advisable to get more rather than reducing the number of tiles when the numbers in the cartons don’t tally to save on future inconveniences. Extra tiles can be kept for repairs or can be repurposed into creative items.
Different Shades in Different Batches
Because tiles are made from natural clays and silicas, they react differently during manufacturing process. This is the inherent characteristics of tiles and each batch produced tend to be a different shade or size. When you buy tiles, it is advisable to purchase from the same batch or lot number.
